I know of a slumber
From which no one will ever wake
For men of bygone days
Still lie on their rusty beds
Snoring throughout eternity
Death is the never ending sleep

My friend beware
When upon this same bed you lay
And you take your last glimpse
Upon the flowers of this world
Upon the mountain's alleys
If fears rumble your failing heart
And the thought that this may be your last

Just smile and be happy
If this world is like this
The other side must be beautiful too
That is where many noble souls had gone
That realm that lies beyond the black clouds of death
Is the home of bliss and wisdom

The pangs of death will soon be over
Do not be a coward to start to quake
It doesn't matters if you have lived so well or not
There may be some things unsaid
Some things undone
Do not lament when your strength failed you
Angels will not want to see your wrinkled face
Set things aright if you can
Forgive yourself
Remember life starts with a cry
So make sure you die smiling
