The Naija spirit

While the super eagles played and won against Iceland, the question is not about an Hausa man scored or an Igbo man made the assist or a Yoruba man crossed the ball, it was joy of Nigeria winning. 

This Naija spirit was so high that everyone celebrated and embraced one another because we all had one goal which is Nigeria winning. While on my way home we heard the shout "Goaal" both men and women, old and young on the bus rejoiced not minding whether it was a Hausa man who scored -so long it's Nigeria that scored we smiled with one another and gay. In Esprit d Corp we all supported the super eagles to win.

How about we begin to help ourselves and see ourselves as one people pursuing one goal -National development. How about we begin to approach national issues in spirit of unity, how about our political leaders begin to govern in the same spirit, how about our young aspirants approach this herculean task before us in the same spirit. We can collectively build the great Nigeria by working in the Naija spirit.
